A Gathering of Friends for Charles E. Watson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 - 4:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Charlie died Friday, November 5, 2010 in Mountain Home, at the age of 66. Charlie was born September 7, 1944 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the son of Charles E. "Haley" and Louise Nenigar Watson. He graduated from Cotter High School in 1963 and worked in Sales and Marketing for several companies after serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. He married Margaret Dunnett in 1967 in England and after her death in 2008 he married Rexene Williams Whorrall on March 12, 2010 at Mountain Home. He was a member of the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity in Washington County, Arkansas and volunteered for American Diabetes Association.

Charlie is survived by his wife Rexene Watson of Mountain, one son, Jason (Connie) Watson of Harrison, AR; one daughter, Karen (Michael) Mauldin of Pinson, AL; 3 granddaughters, Linley and Mollie Mauldin and Jaime Watson; one sister, Charlene Ducommun of Springdale.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Margaret.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
