Charlotte Marie Kelsey

Mrs. Charlotte Marie Kelsey, 76, passed away peacefully with John and her family at her side on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Charlotte was born on October 9, 1946, in Chehalis, Washington, to Bernie and Helen Ames Parker. She graduated from Oceanside High School in California. She married John Kelsey on February 27, 1965, in Oceanside, California. While raising her three daughters and volunteering, she worked in human resources and insurance claims. Charlotte and John retired in Flippin, Arkansas where she enjoyed reading, spending time with family, and relaxing on Bull Shoals Lake. She was best known for her kind heart and gentle soul. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Yellville, Arkansas.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mr. John Kelsey; her brother Mr. Randy (Marcella) Parker, and siblings Mr. Harold (Linda) Holten, Mr. Herb (Leona) Eddleman, Ms. Harriet Tamas, and Ms. Helen Rogers; her three daughters Dr. Cindy (Dr. Sean) Motzny, Ms. Colleen Kelsey, and Ms. Chris Kelsey (partner Mr. Lee Bracy); her grandchildren Ms. Kelsey Hutcheson, Ms. Ashley Hutcheson (partner Christian Price), Ms. Jordan Hutcheson (partner Sammy Sleight), Ms. Gillian Motzny (partner Todd Poyer) and Mr. Colin Motzny; her loving dog Buddy; and many more relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Mr. James Sutton, and brother Mr. Kenny Parker.

Visitation and Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 8800 North Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, Illinois.
