Visitation for Cheryl Lynn Sipes, 57, of Gassville, Arkansas will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Cheryl passed away on April 3, 2013, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on November 22, 1955, in Keosauqua, Iowa to Dean Countryman and Mary K. Howe. Then later married Robert E. Sipes, Jr. on May 20, 1980, at the Bridal Cave in Camdenton, Missouri. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant for her career in life and worked at Baxter Regional Medical Center on the step down unit for 5 years until she became disabled. She was a loving person who would do anything for someone if she could. She loved having her toy poodle, Quinci by her side while watching TV. She like to crochet and spend time with her granddaughter, Sara.
She is survived by her daughter, Kari Sipes of Gassville, AR; her son, Robert Sipes of Iowa; her mom, Mary K. Miles, of Memphis, MO; her step-mom, Joyce Countryman of Fairfield, IA; her sister, Brenda Jernigan of Phoenix City, AL; her half sisters, Lisa Hemm of Fairfield, IA and Chris Rail of Hamburg, AR; her brother, Russell Countryman of Chanblec, AZ; her half brother, Robert Miles of Tulsa, OK; her granddaughter, Sara of Gassville, AR; three grandsons of Iowa; five nieces and two nephews; two great-nieces; five great-nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Sipes, Jr.; her dad, Dean Countryman and two nieces, Brandi Jernigan and Janean Rodgers.
