Chester Kraft

August 30, 1915 — April 26, 2005

Chester L. Kraft was born August 30, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Leon J. and Pearl Irene Kraft. He married Mildred J. Kohnke on September 19, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a retired buyer who worked at Montgomery Wards for twenty-five years. Mr. Kraft was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He lived in Mundelien, Illinois prior to moving to Bull Shoals, Arkansas in 1977. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, Hoevel-Barnett VFW #1341, and served as Honor Guard for 20 years. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Chester L. Kraft passed away at Twin Lakes Nursing Center on April 26, 2005, at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 26 days. Survivors: Son, Robert L. Kraft of Illinois; granddaughter, Victoria C. Kraft of Cary, Illinois; brother, Norbert Kraft of Niles, Michigan; sister, Lucille Grabski of Vermont, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews Preceded in Death by: Parents, wife, and son, James A. Kraft Visitation: 5:00-8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:30 P.M., Thursday, April 28, 2005 Funeral: 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 29, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals with Father Wilfred Okorochukwu as Celebrant Burial: Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals, AR, with Military Honors by Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W.
