Chester Richard Matuszewski

Chester Richard Matuszewski passed away February 27, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 99. He was born January 30, 1918, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Bernice Slezewski Matuszewski. He married Dorothy McCarney on June 8, 1940, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as an electrician for the Chicago Transit Authority. Chester lived in Mountain Home since moving from Chicago, Illinois, in 1979. He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Chester is survived by his two daughters, Dorothy Tepper and Patricia Hagen; six grandchildren; and many friends, especially Silvia and Dale Kassner, Ellie Doner, Gene Norell, and Robert Barrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Graveside Funeral Services for Chester Richard Matuszewski of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
