On Friday December 22, Mrs. Claire Foreman of Houston, TX went to be with her precious Lord and Savior. She died peacefully in her sleep at her beloved home in Mountain Home, AR. Memorial services will be private. Claire E. Foreman was born May 3, 1921 in Akron, Ohio to Claude and Gladys Hunkins. She learned to appreciate music at a young age from her mother who was an accomplished musician. She married Warren H. Foreman on May 31, 1947 in Houston, TX. They were a devoted couple who enjoyed a long and happy marriage. They raised three children in Houston and loved vacationing with their family in Estes Park, CO. Mrs. Foreman worked for the State Department overseas during the war and for many years as a secretary for Farm and Home Savings in Houston, TX. She was a member of Minnetex Community Church and their secretary for many years. Claire Foreman is survived by her son, Douglas A. (Mary) Foreman, of Mountain Home, daughter, Pamela (James) Rose, of Houston, TX, and 9 grandchildren, Lacy Rose, Joanna (Jay) Arnold, Rebekah, Susanna, Paul, Craig, Patricia, Luke, and Anna Grace Foreman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Warren, one son, Craig Alan, and one brother, Dan Hunkins. Her family would like to thank her dear friend Roxanne Helms for her loving support and friendship. Claire Foreman was a devoted mother and grandmother. She had a generous heart and a passion for Christian ministry. She loved her Lord and looked forward with confidence to going home to be with Jesus. Her family fondly remembers the house she made a home and the many wonderful times at Grandma?s house. Her sweet spirit will be missed.
