She married Cornelius A. Drinkwaard on April 6, 1940 at Chicago, IL. Clara worked as a homemaker and lived in Mountain Home for 26 years moving from Mt. Prospect, IL. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Home Extension Club, First Presbyterian Church, Circle One, and formed a Gourmet Club in 1982. She was a member of The Lady Elks and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Survivors: Clara Drinkwaard is survived by her husband, Cornelius A. Drinkwaard, 1 daughter, Sharon (Jim) Barthel of Phoenix, AZ, 1 sister, Elizabeth Pfeiffer of Chandler, AZ, 1 grandson, Michael (Kathryn) Harris of Chandler, AZ, 1 great-grandson, Vaughn Worth Harris of Chandler, AZ, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George Dam. Funeral: Services for Clara Elizabeth Drinkwaard of Mountain Home, AR, will be private.
