Clara Jean Shipe was born December 21, 1932 in Hammond, Indiana. She was the daughter of Emil and Louise Dockweiler Koehn. She married Howard Earl Shipe on October 17, 1953 in Lansing, Illinois. Mrs. Shipe was a homemaker. She moved from S. Holland, Illinois to Mountain Home, Arkansas in August 1990. Mrs. Shipe volunteered at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home and she was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Clara Jean Shipe passed away at her residence on February 5, 2005 at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 14 days. Survivors: Her husband, Howard Earl Shipe; two sons, Dale Allen (Nancee) Shipe of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and Brian Lee (Linda) Shipe of Springfield, Missouri; two daughters, Sharon Lynn (Douglas) Smith of Normal, Illinois and Julie Ann (Mick) Shipe McClain of Madison, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren, Valerie, Elizabeth, Kurt, Katie, Eric, Rebecca, Benjamin, Jonathan, Anna and Justin; two sisters, Dorothy (Burton) Gardiner of Dowagiac, Michigan and Barbara (Herman) Fuehrmeyer of Munster, Indiana; ten nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Floyd Shipe of Stuart, Florida Preceded in Death by: Her parents Visitation: Tuesday, February 8, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral: 1:30 P.M.
