Butch passed away March 10, 2013, in Lakeview, Arkansas, at the age of 73. He was born July 16, 1939, in Grafton, Illinois, the son of Benjamin and Mildred Vinson Auston. He married Marguerite Goodwin on October 30, 1987, at Bull Shoals, Arkansas, and retired from Olin Corporation, after 31 ½ years as a maintenance supervisor. Butch lived in Lakeview since 1994, moving from Alton, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, stock car racing, and duck hunting.
Butch is survived by his wife, Marguerite Auston of Lakeview, AR, son, David Auston of Jerseyville, IL, daughter, Dawn Megginson of Roodhouse, IL, grandchildren, Kenleigh and Rees Megginson and several friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Auston.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
