Clarence "Tony" Anthony Snyder

A Memorial Service for Clarence "Tony" Anthony Snyder of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Christian Church of Mountain Home, with Preacher Eric Dwyer officiating.

A later service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 6, 2019, at the Washington Christian Church in Washington, Illinois.

Tony went home to the Lord at 7:55 am, September 12, 2019, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born February 6, 1937, in Lincoln, Illinois, to Adam and Ella Rohrer Snyder. He married Mary Elizabeth Alig on February 29, 1980, in Metamora, Illinois. Together they have five children. He retired from the Street & Water Department of the Village of Metamora, Illinois in February 2004. He served in the U.S. Army for six years. He loved Mountain Home for the fishing and loved his family.

Tony is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Snyder of Mountain Home, AR; five children, Joe (Gail) Snyder of Emden, IL, Sharlene (Jerry) Campbell of Parrish, FL, Gary (Cindy) Snyder of Lincoln, IL, Terry (Holly) Snyder of Beason, IL and Joe (Michelle Jones) Alig of Metamora, IL; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Snyder of Lincoln, IL and two sisters-in-law, Lois Snyder of Lincoln, IL and Norinda Snyder of Oak Harbor, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Church of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Harvest of Talents at the Lincoln Christian Church in Lincoln, Illinois or the Washington Christian Church in Washington, Illinois.
