Clarence Wisowaty passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was 87. Clarence Wisowaty was born November 7, 1919 at Dolton, Illinois to Peter A. and Caroline Faden Wisowaty. He was a machine and tool designer for International Harvester Company for 32 years. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII and received the purple heart. He married Rose Novak on September 21, 1963 at Chicago and they moved to Mountain Home in 1972 from Riverdale, Illinois. Clarence was a Ham Radio Operator and a member of the Ham Radio Club in Mountain Home. He was also a Member of the Alley White American Legion Post 52, The Purple Heart Association and was past commander of the Cotter VFW Post #5742. Survivors: wife - Rose of Mountain Home, one son - Gerald P. (Iris) Wisowaty of Lake Havsau, Arizona, two step children; Jack (Sharon) Novak and Judith Miderski, both of Tuscon, Arizona, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one sister Alice (Ken) Kelley of Sycamore, Illinois.
