Claribelle Stow died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 84. Claribelle Stow was born Monday, August 11, 1924 in Lucerne, Colorado, the daughter of Edward Leroy and Sylvia Landreth Lowderman. She married Keith Stow and worked as a Secretary for Bell Telephone Co. She won awards for her speaking ability at the telephone company. She was a volunteer at Pleasant View Metropolitan Board, a member of the Red Hats Society and charter member of Telephone Pioneers. She also liked to travel. Claribelle lived in Mountain Home since 2002 moving from Colorado. Survivors: Claribelle Stow is survived by her son, Gerald (Robin) Stow of Mountain Home, AR, 1grandchildren, Peter K. (Becky) Stow of Mountain Home, AR and Amy (Bob) Lombard of Seattle, WA, 3 step-grandchildren, Heather (Stephen) McHaney of Oak Harbor, WA, Matthew (Nichole) Meints, of Port Hueneme, CA and David (Stephanie) Meints of Lemoore, CA, 12 great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, Kenneth Stow of Ames, IA. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral: Memorial services for Claribelle E. Stow of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Village Chapel with Pastor Max Pyron officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks.
