Cledith Bright

Mr. Bright died Saturday, March 28, 2009 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 71. He was born Saturday, December 18, 1937 in Leon, Iowa, son of Forrest G. and Jettie Vaughn Bright. He married Dixie Bright on July 6, 1963 at Des Moines, Iowa. He retired from the Des Moines Register after 30 plus years, a Single Copy Sales Representative . Cledith Bright was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy and Army Reserves . He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding, and was a member of American Legion Riders, Urbandale, Iowa Post # 633. He was a loving family man who took special joy in his grandchildren. Survivors: Survivors include his wife, Dixie Bright of the home; sons Kyle (Michelle) Bright and Kale (Michelle) Bright, both of Des Moines, Iowa; 7 grandchildren: MiKyla, Mackenzie, Logan, Michael, Zachary, and Jahnie Bright and Madison Albers. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. Funeral: Memorial Services for Cledith R Bright of Norwalk, IA, will be at a later date in Iowa.
