Clint Stancil

Clint Stancil was born November 22, 1920 in Buford, Arkansas. He was the son of John and Lela MeGee Stancil. He married Dora Reed on October 18, 1980 in Whiteville, Arkansas. He was a farmer and resident of the Mountain Home area all of his life. He worked for State Parks and Tourism for several years and enjoyed bowling, Cardinal baseball, hunting, fishing, and violin. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church. Clint Stancil entered eternal rest, December 5, 2005 at the age of 85 years and 13 days. Survivors: His wife of twenty-five years, Dora Stancil of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one daughter, Deborah Doshier of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one son,Wade Doshier and wife Susan of San Diego, California; five grandchildren, Shelby, Angela, Rachel, Katlyn, and Kristen; four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Ashton, Justin, and Anthony; and one brother,Loyd Stancil of Buford, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: His parents, five brothers and one sister Visitation: Noon until service time, Friday, December 9 Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Shy officiating Burial: Whiteville Cemetery in Gassville, Arkansas Memorials: Diabetes Foundation or the Whiteville Cemetery Fund Active Bearers: Joe Evans, Ron Fears, Jim Wincker, Quinne Gilchrist, Harold Edwards, and Harold Blades
