Clinton Wayne Wood peacefully passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on December 21, 1951, in Texas, he was the son of Jack McNeil Wood and Ruby Marie Holloway Wood. Clinton dedicated many years of his life to serving as deputy sheriff in San Marcos, Texas, and also contributed his skills in the field of security. In 1998, he made the move to Arkansas, where he continued to create lasting memories with family and friends.
He is survived by his three sons, Matthew (Allyson) Wood, Christopher (Stephanie) Wood, and Tommy Wood; his three daughters, Crystal (Chris) Packley, Caroline Wood, and Jacqueline (Josh) Wood; and his 16 grandchildren: Gavin, Lyla, Chance, Ashley, Brandon, Emily, Logan, Harlie, Ryan, Ashlyn, Katlyn, Riley, Taylor, Karlie, Hadley, and Hayden Wayne; and great-grandson, Maddox. Clinton will also be fondly remembered by his significant other and best friend, Christiane Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruby Wood; and granddaughter, Jodi Rae DeWeese.
