Clovis Carl Hainey of Flippin died February 17, 2008 at Hospice House. He was 83 years old. Carl was born August 25, 1924 at Ada, Oklahoma to John and Beatrice Hainey. He married Frances Agnew at Elgin, Illinois on June 20, 1953. Carl was a carpenter and an independent truck driver. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Disabled Veterans of America. He lived in Flippin for 37 years. Carl was one of a kind and will be remembered for his distinctive voice. Carl tended his flowers, was a rock hound and all around lover of nature. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Frances of Flippin, Arkansas; daughters, Bonnie Burton of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Marcia Heifner(Barry) of Gallup, New Mexico, and Donna Wiles(Mike) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sons, Michael Hainey(Rose) of McMinnville, Tennessee and Jason Hainey of Flippin, Arkansas; sister, Marie Kinman of Earp, California; brother, Frank Hainey of Garland, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sherri Lynn Hainey, sister, Fern Weirich and brothers, Claude and Tom Hainey.
