Clyde Rogers was born December 13, 1925 in Three Brothers, Arkansas the son of Ara Orville Rogers and Sarah Irene Rogers. He married Goldie Houston on December 19, 1974 at Columbus, Kansas. He served with the Merchant Marines for 20 years and worked in Maintenance at Baxter Manor. He liked to garden and took care of his parents and 2 elderly aunts. Clyde attended Liberty Church of Christ.He entered into eternal rest at Baxter Regional Medical Center on June 28, 2009 at the age of 83 Survivors: Wife, Goldie Rogers of the home; 2 sons: Samuel D. Rogers of Midway and Clyde Ervin Rogers, Jr. of Oklahoma; 2 Daughters, Mary McGinnis of Rupert, Idaho and Audrey Jean Phelps of Phoenix, Arizona; 9 Grandchildren; 4 Great Granchildren; 1 Brother, Floyd Rogers of Salem, Arkansas and 1 Sister, Laverne Smith of Gassville, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: Parents Visitation: Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Kirby Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Funeral: Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Kirby Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with Brother Doyne Byrd, officiating Burial: Conley Cemetery on Friday at 11:00 AM in Mountain Home, Arkansas Memorials: Family
