A Celebration of Life for Concettina "Tina" Grosso of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 3, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time at the funeral home.
Concettina passed away April 29, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was born December 4, 1922, in Sicily, Italy the daughter of Joseph and Salvatrice Molica Ferlini. She married Angelo Grosso September 1, 1946, at Sicily, Italy and was a homemaker. Concettina lived in Mountain Home since 1998, moving from Florida. She enjoyed bingo, traveling, and especially spending time with her family.
Concettina is survived by her two daughters, Ann Spencer of Mountain Home, AR, and Sally Lopez of Terre Haute, IN; son, Joseph (Helen) Grosso of Camarillo, CA; sister, Ninna Grosso, of Pavia, Italy; daughter-in-law, Stacy Grosso; 12 grandchildren, Anthony Green, Michael Green, Frankie Green, Angela Wagle, Tina Lombardo, Angelo Grosso, Mario Grosso, Christine Grosso, Joey Lopez, Jessica Lopez, Galvani Ratley and Gina Dyke and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her son, Frank Grosso.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR,with Mario Grosso, Frank Green, Michael Green, Joseph Grosso, Roger Jerome and J.T. Johnson as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
