A Memorial Service for Conley Neil Foster of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Mountain Home, with Reverend Bill Henning officiating. Neil passed away June 2, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 92. He was born January 8, 1920, in Quincy, MA, the son of William Henry Conley Foster and Marguerite McTaggart Foster. He married Elida Page on September 8, 1951, at McHenry, Ill and worked as a Certified Public Accountant for the United States Government. Neil was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Neil retired to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1988, moving from Moline, Illinois. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and he enjoyed woodcarving, playing bridge, traveling, and camping. Neil Foster will be remembered as gentle and trustworthy man, who was well loved by his family. Neil is survived by his wife, Elida Foster; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Foster of Round Rock, TX; two sons, William (Holly) Foster of Albuquerque, NM, Richard Neil Foster of Moline, IL; sister, Dorothy Jane Williams; eight grandchildren, Juliet Jurkovskis, Amanda Plocher, Allegra Nears, LeeAnn Leavitt, Martha Kemp, Rachel Boswell, Heather Revere, Brandon Foster; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Kindness Incorporated.
