Connie Hansen

Connie Hansen died Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 59. She was born Sunday, June 20, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harold Edward and Ella Mae Lazier Durham. She was a Homemaker and lived in Mountain Home since July 2001 moving from the Chicago area. She was a member of the Defenders of Wildlife and North Central Arkansas Humane Society. She loved to cook, watch movies, nature and animals. She loved the outdoors, particularly her travels in Canada. Survivors: Connie Hansen is survived by her partner and soul mate, Paul Sippel of Mountain Home, AR, 3 sons, Mark (Jody) Hansen of Ballwin, MO, John Paul (Stephanie) Sipel of Poplar Grove, IL and William (Nicole) Sipel of Elgin, IL, 1 daughter, Michele (Tom) O'Malley of Schaumburg, IL, 7 grandchildren, Melissa, Jill, Alyssa, Tiffany, John Paul, Jr, Bryanna and Lilly, 2 sisters, Karen Duffy of Arvada, CO and Della Hurt of Elgin, IL and 2 nieces, Kelly and Cassie. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Matthew. Funeral: Memorial services for Connie Lynn Hansen of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Kenneth Taglauer officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
