Curtis Fairl Nail was born June 30, 1942 at Lafferty, Arkansas the son of Earl Houston Nail and Mary Elizabeth Smith Nail. He married Judith Landberg at Lafferty, Arkansas on January 21, 1994 and had been a resident of the Mountain Home area since moving from Lafferty in 1994. He served with the Merchant Marines and the Navy during the Vietnam War as an Engineer. He enjoyed world wide travel including Africa and China; fishing;and collecting and trading coins. He died on September 18, 2007 in Mountain Home at the age of 65. Survivors: Wife, Judith Nail of Mountain Home; Daughter, Pamela Nail of Rio Vista, California; Son, Ted Landberg of United States Merchant Marine Academy-Kings Point, New York; 2 Brothers: Dwight and Doug Nail of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Sister, Imagail Pyle of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded in Death by: Parents, 1 Sister Funeral: Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Lafferty Community church.
