Cynthia Smith was born October 1, 1958, at Heidelberg, Germany, to Rex and Fran Swadley Kasinger. She married Robert Smith on July 16, 1998 at Yellville, AR. She was a home health care nurse. Mrs. Smith lived in Mountain Home, moving from West Plains, MO in 1973. She enjoyed helping people, she loved nature, to camp and fish, and take trips. She had a special fondness for butterflies. She was a very loving and giving person, she was dedicated and determined. She was a member of the Riverside Church of Christ in Gassville, AR. She passed away on October 23, 2004 at her residence at the age of 58 years and 22 days. Survivors: Mrs. Smith is survived by her Husband; Robert Smith of Mountain Home, 2 sons; Eric D. (Krystal) Gunter, of Gamaliel, AR, and Jonathan Smith of Harrison, AR. A daughter; Jennifer (Doyle) Williams, of Harrison, AR. 1 brother; Tommy (Debbie) Kasinger, of Gassville, AR. 4 sisters; Kathy White, of Mountain Home, AR, Terri (Rickey) Guinn,of Flippin, AR, Sarah Blair, of Flippin, AR, and Tammy (Donnie) Haynes, of Gassville, AR, 7 grandchildren, Bethanny, Ariel, Mariah, Brooklyn, Bryaden, Austin, and Kaydence. Several nieces and nephews and many friends. Preceded in Death by: She is preceded in death by 1 daughter, Melissa and 4 nephews. Visitation: Visitation will be Monday October 25, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Cynthia D. Smith of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 26, 2004 at Riverside Church of Christ in Gassville, AR with Bill Jordan and Ron Morgan officiating. Burial: Burial will be in Layton Cemetery in Yellville, AR Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Pietz Cancer Support House. Honorary Bearers: .
