A Graveside Service for Dallas Wayne Fredrick of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 4, 2014, at McHenry County Memorial Park Chapel, Woodstock, Illinois, with Pastor Robert Kinnear officiating.
Dallas passed away March 28, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 73. He was born January 17, 1941, in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Dallas and Alberta Fredrick. He married Juanitta Nelson on June 12, 1976, at Harvard, Illinois and worked as a Material Handler for Knaack Manufacturing. Dallas was a U.S. veteran of the Marine Corps. He lived in Mountain Home since 2011, moving from Harvard, Illinois. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing, and cooking.
Dallas is survived by his wife, Juanitta Fredrick of Mountain Home, AR; brother Thomas D. Fredrick, of Gulf Port, Mississippi; sons Dallas (Karen) W. Fredrick, of Drury, Missouri, Darrion S. Fredrick, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Jason (Jessica) W. Fredrick, of South Carolina; daughter Shawn Fredrick, of Illinois; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and mother, Alberta Fredrick.
He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Denise Fredrick Lumley; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in the McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, a paralyzed veterans organization, or a wildlife foundation.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
