Daniel Beavers

A Memorial Service for Daniel Joe Beavers, 64, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Gene McCoy, Minister officiating. Military Honors will be by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guard and Masonic Rites will be by the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225. Joe died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at his residence. Joe was born August 25, 1946 in Charleston, IL, the son of Zepin and Thelma Snodgrass Beavers. He married Pamela Coley on Oct. 30, 1971 at Waukegan, IL . He retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of service and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Joe lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since March 2000 having moved from Wonder Lake, IL. He was a member of Carribean Naval Masonic Lodge, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Joe is survived by his wife, Pamela; one brother; David (Barbara) Beavers of Sylvania, GA; one sister; Dottie Meyers of Glendale, AZ; He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Richard and one sister Maribel Markwell. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
