Daniel "Dan" Kevin Dooley, Sr.

Daniel "Dan" Kevin Dooley, Sr. of Gamaliel, Arkansas, suddenly passed away May 29, 2023, in Gamaliel, Arkansas at the age of 72. He was born November 25, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of George and Mary Grefenkamp Dooley. He married Diane Surkamp on November 1, 1969, in St. Charles, Missouri. Dan worked in parcel and over the road for UPS for 32 years. In November of 2022 the couple retired to Gamaliel, Arkansas. In his younger years, Dan raced motorcycles professionally. He enjoyed scuba diving, boating on Norfork Lake, and playing guitar. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren at barbecues.

Dan is survived by his wife, Diane Dooley of Gamaliel, AR; sons, Dan (Kelley) Dooley, Jr. of St. Peters, MO, Kirk (Sara) Dooley of St. Peters, MO, and Kyle Dooley of Bridgeton, MO; grandchildren, Kaitlynne, Taylor, Cody, Madison, Lynsey, Adam, and Hannah; and great-grandchildren, Jolie, Aubrie, Kali, Kailee, Aiden, Watson, Lillian, Sadie, and Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Dooley; son, Kevin Dooley; and granddaughter, Megan Dooley.

Following Dan's wishes, there will be no services.
