Danna Walker

A Celebration of Life for Danna Raye Walker of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be 10AM Friday June 18, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals. Danna died Monday June 14, 2010 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was 70 years old. Danna was born at Shawnee, OK. to Bill and Rosemary Pollard Blanchard. She married Lynn Walker June 30, 1965 at Ft. Leavenworth, KS after waiting until military pay day. Danna moved to Bull Shoals from Colorado Springs, Co. in 2004. She was fiercely dedicated to her family and proud to serve as a military wife. Danna loved to knit, sew, cook and was a master puzzler. She was an avid reader and played the organ. Danna is survived by her husband Lynn of the home; two sons, Steven Walker (Leslie) of Portland, OR and Scott Walker (Amy) of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Kari Anaya (Matthew) of Denver, CO; two sisters, Phyllis Sills (Jack) of Manhattan, KS and Terri Tindal of Palm Coast, FL; ten grandchildren, Chris Ferreira (Suah), Kaeley Walker, Damon Walker, Amanda Walker, Brittnie Gerken, Leighton Gerken, Casey Gerken, Monica Anaya, Julian Anaya, and Wesley Anaya; and her canine children, Murphy & Fritz. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Mary Blanchard, and daughter Danna Gerken Walker. Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Library.
