Danny Garrett

Danny died Saturday May 10, 2008 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He was 63. Danny was born at Pittsburg, Kansas to Don and Maxine Garrett. He married Patricia Garrett on June 4, 1988 at Bull Shoals, Arkansas. Danny has operated businesses around the Bull Shoals/ Flippin area. He owned George's One Stop Gas Station and Float Trip Service, Bull Shoals Launderette, Crystal Clear Ice Company and Garrett General Hauling. He received his realtor license in 1983 and worked for the Village Land Office in Bull Shoals. Danny and his family moved to the Bull Shoals area in 1954 from Pittsburg, Kansas. He is a graduate of Flippin High School. Danny loved fishing, hunting, John Wayne movies and the remote control. He never met anyone he couldn't tease. Danny was proud to be a member of the Masons. He was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church. Survivors: He is survived by wife, Patricia Garrett of Flippin, Arkansas; two daughters, Karen Carter (Chris) and Sandy Davenport (Tony) of Yellville, Arkansas; mother, Maxine Garrett of Mountain Home, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Scott Carter, Eric Carter, R.W. Davenport, Lindsay Davenport and Cameron Carter; one great-grandchild Kyle Carter, one sister Tammy Hodges (Mike) of Flippin, Arkansas; one aunt, Carol Simpkins of Greenville, Texas and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Debbie and his first wife, Linda. Visitation: Visitation will be from 11-1PM on Tuesday May 13, 2008 at Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Bull Shoals. Funeral: A Funeral Service for Danny Garrett of Flippin, Arkansas will be at 1PM Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Burial: Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Active Bearers: Chris Carter, Tony Davenport, Tom Wozniak, Donny Hodges, Don Stetler, and Randy Flippin will be Pallbearers.
