Danny Ray Ott

Danny Ray Ott of Dolph, Arkansas, passed away October 8, 2024, in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 63. He was born November 28, 1960, in Yellville, Arkansas, the son of Kelly Ott and Ray Anna Watson. Danny was baptized at the Baptist Church in Harrison, Arkansas. When he was in a good mood, he called his mom "Momma Hun". His big brother, "GregO", had given him an orange wallet, which he always had to open and show all his money. He never let the watches Greg had given him out of his sight. He loved to watch racing, as he came by that honestly. His dad drove race cars, his brother still drives one, and his nephew, Chance, has also followed in the footsteps. Danny and his Momma Hun would watch races on TV all the time.

Danny is survived by his mother, Ray Anna (Charles) Watson of Dolph, AR; brother, Greg (Margaret) Ott of Flippin, AR; step-brother, Kourtney Ott of Panama City, FL; niece, Lacie Ott (Tim) Bettencourt of Flippin, AR; great-nephew, Rhett Bettencourt of Flippin, AR; nephew, Chance (Danie) Ott of Hernando, MS; great-nieces, Alina Ott of Hernando, MS, Avery Ott of Hernando, MS; great-nephew, Corbin Ott of Hernando, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, and many friends and caregivers at the Springs of Batesville. He was preceded in death by his father, Kelly Wayne Ott; maternal grandparents, Ray and Novell Martin; fraternal grandparents, Jewell and Helen Ott; uncles Tom and Dean Martin; and aunt, Wilma (Marvin) Bolding. 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for Danny will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Greg Ott, Chance Ott, Tim Bettencourt, Tim Martin, Steve Martin, Greg Hopper, Randy White, and Shawn Lance as pallbearers.
