Darrel Pope

Services for Darrel W. Pope, Sr., of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Darrel passed away December 18, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 58. He was born June 4, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of August "Bud" and Ellen Poe Pope. He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed fishing. Darrel was a U.S. Army veteran. Darrel lived in Mountain Home, since 1996, moving from Round Rock, Texas. Darrel is survived by his children, David (Michelle) Pope of Mountain Home, AR, Lynn Stone of Clarkridge, AR, Kim Hurst of Lawrence, KS and Darrel Pope, Jr. of Murray, KY; several grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Pope and sister, Sue Sufferling. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ricky Pope. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
