Darrell Gardner

Darrell Gardner was born May 24, 1922, in Girard, Illinois. He was the son of Ethan and Kathryn Miller Gardner. He served with the United States Army during World War II. He married the late, Shirley Spencer. Mr. Gardner was a landscaper. He moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Springfield, Illinois in 1980. Darrell Gardner passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on April 12, 2005, at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 18 days. Survivors: One son, Rollin (Roberta) Gardner of Houston, Texas; one step-son, Mark Chapman of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one step-daughter, Beth Woodman of Redmond, Washington; three grandchildren, Veronica Gardner, Nicholas Gardner and Samantha Woodman; one sister, Shirley Fortner of Springfield, Illinois; and one sister-in-law, Martha Gardner of Troy, Illinois Preceded in Death by: Parents; wife, Shirley Gardner; and two brothers Memorials: American Red Cross, P.O.
