Darrell Radtke

Darrell Radtke died Wednesday July 16, 2008 at Baxter Regional Medical Center with his wife, Emmy at his side. He was 70 years old. Darrell was born May 10, 1938 at Rib Lake, Wisconsin to Fred and Irene Radtke. He married Emmy Braun Lemire on May 27, 1994 at Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Darrell was a commercial loan officer in the banking industry. He lived in Lakeview for eight years, moving here from Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Darrell was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was an avid cribbage player and even built his own cribbage board. Darrell restored a Model T auto and passed his love of tinkering with old cars on to his son. Survivors: Darrell is survived by his wife Emmy of Lakeview, one son, Michael Radtke(Jen) of Greenville, Wisconsin, one daughter, Colleen Balzola of Iron Mountain, Michigan, one stepson, four stepdaughters, four grandsons, 10 step grandchildren, and one brother, Donald Radtke (Beth) of Carthage, Illinois. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Darrell Lee Radtke will be at 2:00PM, Monday July 21st at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating.
