David Eddy

David Ward Eddy, age 74, of Greeley, Colorado formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010. David was born March 29, 1936 in Kansas City, Kansas to Robert James and Mae Hayes Eddy. He married the late Mae Meyer on September 24, 1984 in Theodosa, Missouri. David served in the U.S. Army and was a retired troubleshooter for the Board of Public Utilities for Kansas City, Kansas where he was employed for 17 years. David Eddy was a member of the East Side Baptist Church, I.B.E.W. Local #53 of Kansas City, Elks Club and past member of the American Legion in Kansas City.

David is survived by a son, David (Patty) Eddy of Greeley, Colorado; sister, Norma Long of Kansas City, Kansas; 3 grandsons, Ross, John and David Eddy; 2 granddaughters, Mary Owens and Crystal Morris, several nieces and nephews. David is predeceased by his wife, Mae, one son, Michael and one brother.

Visitation for David Ward Eddy will be 3:00PM-5:00PM, Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, November 19, 2010 at 10:00AM at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Shy officiating.

Entombment will be at the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Side Baptist Church or Hospice of the Ozarks
