A Celebration of Life for David Joseph Fachting of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Dan Cohee officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. David passed away August 21, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 75. He was born August 19, 1937, in Saint Louis, Michigan, the son of Emanuel and Gwendolyn Feltman Fachting. He was a chiropractor. David was a U.S. Army Veteran. David lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since the early 1980's, moving from Alma, Michigan. He was a member of the Citizens for Clean Water and the Arkansas Chiropractic Association. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals, and spending time with his grandchildren. David is survived by three daughters, Kimberly (Charles) Alexander of Gamaliel, AR, Dawn Fachting of Elkins, AR, and Ann (Scott) Burleson of White House, TN; four brothers, Carl (Arlene) Fachting of MI, George Fachting of MI, Mark Fachting of CO, and Dan (Mary Jo) Fachting of MI; one sister, Diana (Tom) Durling, of MI; four grandchildren, and the mother of his children, Mary Ann (Don) Worrall of Gamaliel, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jack and Tom Fachting, and sister, Dorothy Kovac.
