David Hanes

David Marvin Hanes was born August 9, 1903 in Wellington, Illinois. He was the son of David Quiller and Nancy Catherine Moore Hanes. He married Elizabeth Anna Schon, December 24, 1924, in Pappana, Illinois. Mr. Hanes served in the National Guard. He was employed as a high tension electrician with Commonwealth Edison in Chicago, Illinois. The Hanes family moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Martinton, Illinois in May, 1996. David Marvin Hanes passed away at Good Samaritan, December 23, 2005, at the age of 102 years, 4 months and 14 days. Survivors: Three sons, Harold (Darlene) Hanes of Boulder City, Nevada; Marvin Roy Hanes; and Gerald (Carol) J. Hanes of Ignaco, Colorado; daughter, Oral P. Olson of Mountain Home, Arkansas; brother, Samuel Hanes of Downer's Grove, Illinois; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Son, David; parents; wife; one sister and five brothers Funeral: Private
