David Hite

Services for David Earl Hite of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. David passed away December 22, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 65. He was born June 16, 1947, in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Calvin and Lucille App Hite. He married Barbara Hite on June 6, 1980, at Geneva, Illinois and worked for the state of Illinois for 32 years. David was a U.S. Navy veteran. David lived in Mountain Home, since 2008 moving from Elgin, Illinois. He enjoyed reading, computers, NASCAR and football, especially the Chicago Bears. He loved his puppy, Annie. David is survived by his wife, Barbara Hite of Mountain Home, AR, two sons, Rusty Hite and Scott (Melissa) Hite both of Elgin, IL, two daughters, Tammy (Bob) Harter of Elgin, IL and Kristy (Brian) Thorn of Mountain Home, AR, six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Laurie (Ed) Jurgens of Crystal Lake, IL, mother, Lucille Breeding and his puppy, Annie. He was preceded in death by his father; step-father, Howard Breeding; step-mother, Lois Hite; brother, Daniel Hite and sister, Lianne Dotson. Memorials may be made to any animal shelter. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
