David Ronald Hotchkiss Sr.

Funeral Services for David Ronald Hotchkiss, Sr, 68, of Bull Shoals, AR will be 11AM, Tuesday February 24, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Dale Blackwell officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Monday, February 23, 2015, at the funeral home. David died suddenly at his home February 18, 2015.

David was born March 3, 1946, at Monette, AR to George and Irma Lewis Hotchkiss. He married Mary (Dyer) Hotchkiss, his wife of over fifty years, on November 22, 1963 in St. Joe, MI. David worked as a contractor building houses. Working was not just David’s vocation, but it was also his hobby. He loved old cars, wood-working and making people laugh. He was a devoted husband, a loving daddy, a wonderful papa and he loved his pets dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Bull Shoals, AR; son, David (Hot Rod) Hotchkiss (Julie) of Bull Shoals, AR; daughters, Tammy (Daa) Smith (Ronnie) of Paragould, AR and Wendy (Lil Shane) Borden (Joe) of Sarasota, FL; sister, Mary Joy Hartley of Monticello, AR; ten grandchildren, Anthony, Stephanie, Mercedes, Matthew, Michael, Porscha, Hunter, Haley and Kaden and great-grandchild, Olivia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, daughter, Julie Ann Hotchkiss and granddaughter, Amanda Rhea Jones.
