David Lee Lewis

David Lee Lewis passed away January 16, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born March 20, 1935, in Mauston, Wisconsin, the son of John and Mossa Bennett Lewis. David was a U.S. Army veteran. He put himself through school while working as an animal handler for Baxter Laboratories. He married Barbara Walker on February 25, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, and was a principal at Indian Trail Junior High School. David lived in Mountain Home since moving from Lombard, Illinois in 1990. He enjoyed construction and was a professional musician. He played on WGN Radio weekly while in the Fifth Army Band in the 1950's.

David is survived by his wife, Barbara Lewis of Mountain Home, AR; son, David Lewis of Clarkridge, AR; and daughter, Anne Krob of Lancaster, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Memorials may be made to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
