David Lyle Mittan

David Lyle Mittan of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away August 30, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 77. He was born September 30, 1945, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the son of Marion and Ganelle Boger Mittan. He married Diane Beeler on December 2, 2002, in Mountain Home, AR and worked as a Cost Analyst for International Trucking. David was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and twenty year friend of Bill W. He lived in Bull Shoals, AR since moving from Indiana, in 2002. David was an avid photographer and loved his dogs.

David is survived by his wife, Diane Mittan of Bull Shoals, AR; daughters, Alicia (Mike) Hill of Knoxville, TN and Audrey (Jake) Pauwels of Grand Rapids, MI; brothers, James (Kristy) Mittan of Charlotte, NC and Paul (Ginny) Mittan of Warren, IN; sister, Joyce Benge of Cincinnati, OH and grandchildren, Alex and Lauren Hill of Knoxville, TN and Annabelle and Tessa Pauwels of Grand Rapids, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be private.
