A Graveside Memorial Service for David W. Ronning of Bradenton, Florida, will be 3:00 pm, Monday, May 11, 2015, at Baxter Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Richard Jebsen officiating.
Dave passed away May 1, 2015 in Bradenton, Florida at the age of 90. He was born on December 10, 1925 in Montevideo, Minnesota, the son of Jens and Christine Ronning. He married Evangeline Laumb on December 16, 1945 in Montevideo and worked as a commercial insurance salesman before retiring to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1985. He moved from Mountain Home to Bradenton in 2014 after the death of his wife of 68 years. Dave enjoyed fishing, gardening and telling stories.
Dave is survived by his two sons, John (Terry) of Richardson, TX and Jerry (Maureen) of Bradenton, FL; three grandchildren, Kristen (David) Kinchen of McDonough, GA, John (Mellissa) Ronning of Scottsdale, AZ and Michael of Seattle, WA; as well as several great-grandchildren. Dave’s parents and eight brothers and sisters predeceased him.
Dave requested that any memorials be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the Food Pantry at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
