A Funeral Service for David Eugene Rose of Caulfield, Missouri, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Chris McKoy officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2017, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
David passed away December 6, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 68. He was born January 24, 1949, in Knoxville, Iowa, the son of Leo and Dorothy Swan Rose. David was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a river guide, lineman, and electrician. David has lived in Arkansas since he was eight years old. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, working on cars, and being outdoors.
David is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Mark) Matlock of Mountain Home, AR; son, Kade Rose, E3, of Flippin, AR; four grandchildren, Holden, Evan, Cannon, and Sutton Matlock all of Mountain Home, AR; one great-granddaughter, Ivory Matlock of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Max (Lynette) Rose of Walnut Ridge, AR; two nephews, Michael (Jessica) Rose of Little Rock, AR and Matthew (Stephanie) Rose of Walnut Ridge, AR and niece, Tammy Rose of Covington, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Rose.
