Debra Diane James of Clarkridge, Arkansas, passed away January 4, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. She was born January 3, 1952, in Transylvania, Louisiana, the daughter of Robert and Dixie Girod Griffin. She married Daniel James in 1990 in Clarkridge, Arkansas and worked for Champion Boat Company and Affordable Insurance Company. Debra lived in Arkansas for forty years, since moving from Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the Mammoth Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing.
Debra is survived by her husband, Daniel James of Clarkridge, AR; daughter, Nikki (Jack) Long of Branson, MO; son, Mike (Jennifer) Flowers of Mountain Home, AR; two brothers, Randy Griffin of Harlen, IA, and Robert (Jackie) Griffin of Mountain Home, AR; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for Debra will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ron Felker officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
Memorials may be made to the Twin Lakes Shrine Club.
