DeEtta passed away April 10, 2018, in Yellville, Arkansas, at the age of 86. She was born along with her identical twin sister on October 9, 1931, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Lynn and Connie Reed Haller. She worked as an Executive Secretary for Mobile Oil. DeEtta lived in Lakeview, AR since 2007, moving from Springfield, MO. As an artist, she enjoyed pastels and nature. Her children were the most important thing in her life.
DeEtta is survived by daughters, Leslie Pierce of Lakeview, AR and Rachel (Frank) Fowler of Colorado Springs, CO and their children, Parker Fowler and Benjamin Fowler; son, Kirk (Susan) Pierce of Springfield, MO; their children, Dillon Pierce, Cassie McCart, Erica Loveland, and Joseph Harston and brothers, Kenneth (June) Hornby of Gainesville, FL and Paul (Peggy) Fowler of Albuquerque, NM.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Douglas Walter Pierce; her parents; brother, Warren Brashear and twin sister, LynEtta Tegler.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
