A Celebration of Life for Delcie Delourse Woelbing of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with Reverend Marillyn Schultz officiating.
Delcie passed away September 16, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 73. She was born March 29, 1939, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin II and Gladys Grant Rhoads. She married Allen Woelbing on July 3, 1964, at Blytheville, Arkansas and worked as a Medical Clerk and Office Manager for Kerr Medical Clinic. Delcie lived in Bull Shoals, Arkansas since 1977, moving from Mequon, Wisconsin. She enjoyed reading, quilting and sewing. She loved her family reunions, husband, children, grandchildren and sisters. She was a volunteer and made bears at NARMC and volunteered with Marion County Hometown Health for many years.
Delcie is survived by her husband, Allen Woelbing; 2 sons, Chuck (Joy) Woelbing of Harrison, AR and Troy Woelbing of Bull Shoals, AR; 1 daughter, Donna (Daniel) Schmidt of Flippin, AR; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Walser, Jason Schmidt, Jessie Woelbing, Savanna Woelbing, Sarrah Woelbing and Troy A. Woelbing; 2 great-grandchildren, Madeline Schmidt and Maylin Walser; 4 sisters, Wanda Sanders of Mountain Home, AR, Linda Miller, Sue Seay, and Pam Martin all of Harrison, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, James Keith Rhoads and Benjamin Franklin Rhoads III.
Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
