Dellar Sanders

A Funeral Service for Dellar Sanders of Dolph, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Dolph Baptist Church, with Reverend Raymond Carneal officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Dellar passed away January 21, 2016, in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born July 16, 1932, in Hopewell, Arkansas, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha Loosey Gray. She married Vernard Sanders in 1949, at Mount Ida, Arkansas and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and fishing.

Dellar is survived by her 9 children, James Sanders of Rogersville, MO, David (Patty) Sanders of Fairhope, AL, Gloria (Jerry) Owens of Dolph, AR, Linda Mooney of Dolph, AR, Jimmy (Alisa) Sanders of Melbourne, AR, Terry (April) Sanders of Dolph, AR, Brenda Bedwell of Bolivar, MO, Sandra (Jimmy) Shell of Flippin, AR and Carla Sanders of Dolph, AR; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and three sisters, Eva Lovett of Calico Rock, AR, Elwanda Loosey of Calico Rock, AR and Maxine Woods of Mountain Home, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Burial will be in the Wayland Arbor Cemetery, Dolph, Arkansas, with Gus Sanders, Steven Sanders, Shane Owens, Travis Owens, Ricky Gray and Bobby Gray as pallbearers.
