Dennis H. Gessler was born Saturday, February 11, 1939 in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of Howard G. and Dagmar Schoen Gessler. He married Virginia Gessler on June 21, 1986 at Chicago, Illinois. He was the former owner and operator of Techni-Graphics in Chicago for 25 years and the owner of Mountain Home Auto Museum.. Dennis Gessler was a veteran of Korean war and lived in Mountain Home for 16 years moving from Deerfield, Illinois. He passed away on October 17, 2008 at his residence at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 6 days. Survivors: His wife, Virginia Gessler of Mountain Home and one Daughter, Kimberly (Dan) Schooley of Mesa, Az, three grandchildren, one great grandchild. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Monday, October 20 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M.Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend James Greenslade officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Mountain Home Cemetery. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Active Bearers: Glenn Hilge, Shady Schultze, Ron Young, Merle Neurenberger, Stanley Pitchford, Neal Wiersema and Don Belk. Additional Notes: Military Honors will be by the North Central Veteran's Council, Alley White American Legion Post # 52 honor guard.
