Deva Hogan

Deva Jo Hogan, 75 of Jacksonville, Florida formerly of Gassville went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2008. Deva Jo Hogan was born May 15, 1933 in Gassville, Arkansas to Ray and Ruth Thrasher Brainerd. She married Joseph Ralph Hogan, Jr. at Gassville, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Cotter High Schol and a collector of Fine Art. Her love of children motivated here to teach Sunday School and Kindergarten for many years. Survivors: Deva Jo Hogan is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ralph; son, Joseph Ralph Hogan, III and wife Dawn of Huntsville, Alabama; daughter, Mary Ruth Halvorsen and husband, Mark of Bryceville, Florida; and six grandchildren - Michael, Melissa, Andrew, Christopher, Mark and Brendon; one sister - Clara Dean Berg and husband, Marshall of Cotter; 2 nieces - Anu Berg and Menoka Bernardo of Jacksonville, Florida. Preceded in Death by: She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Vera. Funeral: Graveside service, 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 11 at Gassville Cemetery.
