Dewaine Keith Jones

October 21, 1931 — July 29, 2015

Dewaine Keith Jones was born in Keeler, Michigan and passed away July 29, 2015 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. A long-time resident of Fort Worth, Texas, he and his wife, Janey retired to Mountain Home in 1992. Dewaine enjoyed traveling the world with Fort Worth friends and their home on Norfolk Lake was their special haven.

After serving in the Medical Corps with the U.S Army during the Korean War era, Dewaine worked in pharmaceutical sales for thirty-five years. He volunteered at the Baxter Regional Medical Center ER Department for twenty years and continued his interest in the medical community.

Dewaine was an avid sportsman and spent countless hours sharing his love of the outdoors and life lessons with his children water skiing, fishing, canoeing and hiking. He was a skilled wood carver who created a beautiful home and many handcrafted carvings for family and friends.

Dewaine is survived by his wife, Janey Jones of Mountain Home; his daughters, Ginger Jones (Ken Smith) of Portland, Maine and Holly Wolf (Charlie) of Saint Louis, MO; and grandchildren, Joseph and Pearson-Rae of Saint Louis, Missouri and numerous family friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mountain Home Food Basket, 1341 Eastside Centre Court, Mountain Home, AR 72653 or the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, Hwy. 14215 Hwy 5 S., Norfork, AR 72658
