Diane Oakland

A Funeral Mass for Diane Therese Oakland, 47, of Mountain Home will be at 10:00 a.m.Wednesday March 28, 2012, at St. Peters Catholic Church, with Reverend Stan Swiderski as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday with a vigil service at 7:00 at Kirby Funeral Home. The Lord took away Diane's pain and welcomed her to Heaven on March 25, 2012. She was born March 20, 1965, in Winfield, IL, the daughter of William and Joyce Bergman Brynildssen. She was a preschool teacher in her early years and was blessed with her only baby Aprille Joy in 1988. Diane lived in Mountain Home since 1998 and spent her years swimming and boating on Lake Norfork, reading, watching her favorite TV shows with her mother and cuddling her puppy, Daisy May. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and loved to sing God's Word. Mama, I love you with all my love, always. Diane is survived by daughter; Aprille Hanson of Conway; her parents, Joyce and Bill Brynildssen of Mountain Home; sister, Laura (Jimmy) Gillette; nephew Anthony, all of Bartlett, IL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and her special companion, Terry Straus. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Jean Bergman and her special pet. Sammi. Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to North Central Arkansas Humane Society. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
