Diane Thurman

Diane R. Thurman was born January 26, 1950 in Winsor, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Robert Dewitt and Minnie Marie Schliski Hodge. She married Danny Thurman on December 31, 1984 in Cabot, Arkansas. She was an LPN and lived in Jacksonville prior to moving to Gassville, Arkansas in 1998. She enjoyed working in her yard, dancing, playing pool, flowers, country music, needlework and nursing. Mrs. Thurman was a member of the Baptist faith. Diane R. Thurman passed away at Cox Medical South on May 3, 2005, at the age of 55 years, 3 months and 7 days. Survivors: Husband, Danny Thurman of Gassville, Arkansas; two brothers, Wayne Hodge of Valrico, Florida, and Lloyd Hodge of Gassville, Arkansas; three sisters, Judy Betts of Gassville, Arkansas, Janet Hodge of Flippin, Arkansas and Roberta (Kevin) Studdard of Monkey Run, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: Parents, and two brothers, James and Paul Hodge Visitation: Friday, May 6th, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, May 7th, 10 a.m., at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Memorials: Relay for Life Active Bearers: Tracy Thurman, Eric Betts, Earl Betts, Kevin Studdard, Rusty Thurman and Buck White
