Dixie Lynne Schlueter

Dixie Lynne Schlueter of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 13, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. She was born August 19, 1941, in Gassville, Arkansas, the daughter of James Earl and Minnie Jessie Krubak Thomas. She married Curt W. Schlueter on May 11, 1998, at Twin Lakes Baptist Church of Mountain Home, AR. Dixie lived in the Twin Lakes area all of her life and was a member of the Twin Lakes Baptist Church and Alley-White American Legion Post #52. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, and visiting Tunica to go gambling. Dixie just loved to get out and go.

Dixie is survived by her daughter, Kathi (Lonnie) Tilley of Lakeview, AR; son, Robert (Debbie) Gardner of Shreveport, LA; daughter-in-law, Cheri Gardner of Mountain Home, AR; sister, Jackie Wade; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Tommy Gardner; brothers, Glenn, Bill, and Jimmie Thomas; and sister, Joye Miller.

A Memorial Service for Dixie will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Hughes officiating.
